As a Lead Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional dining experiences to our guests by delivering prompt, efficient, and personalized service.
You will play a vital role in ensuring our guests' satisfaction and creating a welcoming atmosphere in our restaurant.
Knowledgeable Service:
1.
Maintain a thorough understanding of the menu, including ingredients, preparation methods, and potential allergens.
2.
Be able to answer questions regarding the menu, including ingredients, cooking techniques, and flavor profiles.
3.
Upsell and promote additional items, such as desserts, appetizers, or premium beverages, when appropriate.
Attentive Customer Care:
1.
Anticipate guests' needs throughout their dining experience.
2.
Check on guests regularly to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns promptly.
3.
Demonstrate a high level of attentiveness, proactively refilling drinks, clearing plates, and offering dessert or coffee options.
Cash Handling and Billing:
1.
Accurately process guest payments, including cash, credit cards, and electronic transactions.
2.
Handle cash and maintain an organized cash drawer, following all cash handling procedures.
3.
Present checks to guests and provide detailed explanations of charges when necessary.
Cleanliness and Organization:
1.
Maintain a clean and organized workstation, including tables, dining area, and service station.
2.
Set up tables with appropriate utensils, linens, and condiments before guest arrival.
3.
Assist with cleaning duties, such as sweeping, mopping, and restocking supplies as needed.
Requirements:
1.
Previous serving experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment is preferred.
2.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
3.
Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.
4.
Strong knowledge of food and beverage menus, including wine, cocktails, and seasonal offerings.
5.
Basic math skills for accurate billing and cash handling.
6.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
7.
A positive attitude and a genuine passion for providing exceptional dining experiences.
