We are looking for an experienced Commercial Construction Superintendent who will be responsible for overseeing on-site construction activities, ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget.

Description

  • Manage all aspects of on-site construction activities, including coordinating subcontractors, scheduling, and overseeing the work progress.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe work environment for all personnel on the construction site.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to interpret project plans, specifications, and schedules.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor work quality, progress, and adherence to construction documents.
  • Coordinate the procurement and delivery of materials, equipment, and resources to support project requirements.
  • Provide leadership and direction to subcontractors and construction crew members, resolving conflicts and addressing issues as they arise.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily reports, progress photos, and as-built drawings.
  • Communicate effectively with project team members, clients, and stakeholders to provide updates, address concerns, and facilitate problem-solving.
  • Identify and mitigate risks, conflicts, and delays to ensure timely project completion and minimize disruptions.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that promotes teamwork, professionalism, and accountability among all construction personnel.

Profile

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a construction superintendent, with a focus on commercial projects.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, techniques, and building codes.
  • Proven leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively manage subcontractors and construction crew members.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with attention to detail and accuracy in project documentation.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and schedules.
  • Proficiency in construction management software and Microsoft Office suite.
  • OSHA 30-Hour Certification and other relevant safety certifications preferred.
