Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Solution Engineer in Camp Hill, PA and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally. Assist in modifying existing software to correct errors, to adapt it to new hardware or to upgrade interfaces and improve performance for clients. Work with Senior Consultants and Managers to design and develop software systems. Requirements: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Engineering (any), CIS, Business Administration, MIS or a related field plus one year of experience providing IT consulting services to clients on behalf of a global consulting company. The employer will accept a Master s degree in a stated field as meeting the Bachelor s degree requirement. Must have one year of experience with: Developing web applications using J2EE, JSPs, JDBC, Java and client side programming; Creating Packages, Stored Procedures, PL/SQL Queries, views and tables using Oracle, MySQl and SQL; Developing vbscript testscript plugins in ideabytes using Java and vb macros to process volumes of data; Developing and implementing unit test framework and testing methods using junit and reflection api; Configuring Subversion and utilizing version control tools for code control; and Implementing webpages using jsp, servlets, html and jsp custom tags. 30%25%20travel required.
